We take your privacy seriously. Here you will find, in plain terms, what data we process about you, why we need it, and the rights you have. We only collect data when you write to us through one of the forms on this site.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry through a form, we store only what you fill in:

  • your name
  • your e-mail address
  • your phone number, if you provide one, this is optional
  • the text of your message and the details of your enquiry, such as the vehicle you are looking for
  • technical data needed for security and abuse prevention, namely your IP address, browser type, and the page you submitted the form from

Why we process it

We use your data for a single purpose, so that we can contact you and handle your enquiry. We do not use it for advertising and we do not send you a newsletter.

The legal basis for handling your enquiry is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

We process the technical data, that is your IP address and browser type, on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting the site against spam and abuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. It is processed on our behalf only by trusted partners who help us run the site:

  • GUY (guy.sk), GUY HOSTING, Operation and hosting of the website, storage of your enquiries and vehicle photos, delivery of the enquiry e-mail to our inbox, and anonymous traffic statistics.

Transfers outside the EU

We process your data within the European Union. If any of our partners were to process data outside the EU, we would ensure this happens only under appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR, for example standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry and related communication while we handle it, and for up to 24 months after the last contact, in case of further communication or a complaint. After that we delete the data. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights over your data:

  • the right to access the data we hold about you
  • the right to correct inaccurate data
  • the right to have your data deleted
  • the right to data portability for the data you provided to us
  • the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority
